Join us for conversations with Indigenous creatives and entrepreneurs about finding success in the digital space. Talks will take place live on Zoom where you will have the opportunity to listen and ask questions about the experiences and expertise of the panelists.

This 3-part series is tailored towards Indigenous artists and entrepreneurs. It is free to attend.

 Discussing why you take your work online and where to put it. Looking at how Indigenous creatives are selling their work online from individual artists and small businesses.

Join us for the Spring Indigenous Virtual Art Market! This 3-day online event will highlight the work of 50 Indigenous artists and artisans from across the country. Come browse the virtual booths from May 28-30, where you can learn more about these amazing vendors and support the work of Indigenous artists. 

The Spring Indigenous Virtual Art Market features the diverse work of Métis, Inuit and First Nations makers including fine art, beadwork, sculptures, moccasins, cards, crafts, music, materials and much more. Come and enjoy the fun!

This event is organized by members of the NAC Indigenous Theatre team who live and work on the unceded Territory of the Algonquin Anishinabeg. We welcome Indigenous and non-Indigenous folks from all territories to join us for this virtual event.

National Art Centre - Indigenous Theater presents: 

Beaded Earrings Workshop - Virtual event

You will receive a kit that has everything to make a pair of beautiful beaded earrings, with a surprise bead colour inside! Included are instructions, beads, gems, threads, stud backings and much more! The workshop will be split between two 1.5-hour sessions via zoom where you will bead along with Stephanie to make your earrings from start to finish and have the ability to share your progress and ask questions. 

Suitable for beginner beaders and experienced beaders alike, ages 16 and up. Workshop will be delivered in English but questions are welcome in French.

Materials required:

- Pen

- Scissors

All other materials will be provided.

The Indigenous Women’s Art Market features the diverse and amazing work of Métis, Inuit and First Nations makers. Browse jewelry, beadwork, paintings, sculptures, mittens, moccasins, coffee, crafts, and much more. Come and enjoy the fun!

Deliaestelle Designs facilitated and exciting workshop at The National Art Gallery of Canada hosted by The Wabano Centre for Aboriginal Health for First Nations, métis or Inuit and ages 13+ and up and living in the Ottawa/Gatineau area.

This was a COVID-19 pre-screened and well organized outdoor workshop with social distancing which offered the creation of mini Moccasin earrings using kits provided by Manitobah Mukluks.
